6 Factors in the broader environment

There are a number of factors in the broader environment favouring the uptake of the SIS Strategy. These include: the ongoing partnership between the Belgian government, represented by BTC, and DLA to support the roll-out of the Strategy, coupled with the recent approval for the funding for a roll-out phase; ongoing processes to decentralise and delegate decision-making within the CRLR, the PRLOs and government as a whole; and the increasing public scrutiny of land reform and government delivery more broadly.
