3 Assessing the context 3.3 Potential limitations and risks 3.3.2 Internal contestation over the role of DLA |
|
In several of the PLROs and in some offices of the CRLR, managers either flatly deny or downplay their role in, or responsibility for, post-transfer support. This view holds that the role of DLA is to acquire and transfer land, and post-transfer support is someone else's responsibility. At the same time, the work of the CRLR offices and the PLROs are not well aligned. There are times that officials from the two organisations are delivering portions of land that are close to one another, or right next to one another, but they are not talking to each other to co-ordinate their work. |
